Carmen Echevarría —actress, dancer and model – was born in Spain and has always been passionate about the performing arts. She began dancing when she was only 4 at the “Estrymens” Dance School in her native Cantabria, but as she always says, she probably was dancing in the womb as her mother wouldn’t stop performing even when she was 9 months pregnant!

Carmen trained in Spanish and Modern dance until the age of 16, obtaining the degrees granted by the “Acade”, the official Spanish Dance Association. She decided to train in singing as well and was eventually cast in TV shows such as “EuroJunior”and“VeoVeo”.

At this point Carmen decided to move to Madrid and train professionally in dancing and performing and completed her bachelor in performing arts.

 She has worked with the Goya-nominated filmmaker Salvador Calvo, director of  the prestigious film “1898: Los últimos de Filipinas.” She was also cast as the lead in “Que el viento sople a tu favor,“ music video of the acclaimed Spanish band "Mago de Oz”, which was a huge hit in Spain and Latinamerica. She also participated in the play “Nada se pierde, nipuedeperderse”, directed by renowned director Fernando Soto. It was a huge success in Madrid’s theater scene and took her on tour throughout the country.

As a Model, Carmen has worked for international brands such as MOSCHINO, TWIN SET, ELISABETTA FRANCHI, DSQUARED, among others.
